In 2009, my life changed forever when my two-month-old son, Elijah, stopped breathing in his cot. He was rushed to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, and spent the next three months in an induced coma. When he finally woke, we were given devastating news — Elijah had suffered severe brain damage and had lost his sight.
As his father, I couldn’t simply accept that there was nothing more we could do. My search for answers eventually led me to hyperbaric oxygen therapy. But when I couldn’t find a home chamber I believed was good enough for my own son, I made a decision that would change both our lives: I would build one myself.
That journey became Hyperbaric Chambers. What began with one father trying to help his little boy has grown into more than 15 years of designing and supplying advanced hyperbaric systems to families, professionals and facilities around the world.
